  • Average number of 100-degree or greater highs per year: 2 at both Evansville and Paducah

Number of 100-degree or greater highs this year: 12 at both Evansville and Paducah

  • Average number of 90-degree plus highs per year: 43 at Evansville and 48 at Paducah

Number of 90-degree plus highs this year: 39 at Evansville and 47 at Paducah

  • Record number of 100-degree or greater highs in a year at Evansville - 23 in 1936 (2012 ranks as 3rd highest total)
  • Record number of 100-degree or greater highs in a year at Paducah - 14 in 1954 (2012 tied with 1988, 1947 and 1941 for 2nd highest total)
  • Record number of 90-degree or greater highs in a year at Evansville - 84 in 1936 
  • Record number of 90-degree or greater highs in a year at Paducah - 93 in 1939 

The period of record for Evansville starts in 1897. The period of record for Paducah starts in 1937. Averages were computed for the entire period of record.
