   LOCATION...A VERY LARGE BUT SHALLOW ROOTED TREE WAS UPROOTED. A
   GLASS DOOR TO A HOME WAS DESTROYED WITH GLASS SCATTERED
   THROUGHOUT THE HOME. THIS HOME ALONG WITH OTHER HOMES IN THE
   IMMEDIATE AREA HAD MINOR ROOF AND SIDING DAMAGE. 2 SHEDS WERE
   DESTROYED. FURTHER NORTHEAST...ALONG US 62 ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF
   THE ROAD THERE WERE SEVERAL HOMES WITH SHINGLES MISSING AND ONE
   HOME WITH THE GARAGE DOOR BLOWN IN. ON THE NORTH SIDE OF US
   62...A LARGE WELL BUILT BARN SUSTAINED PARTIAL ROOF LOSS.
   FOLLOWING US 62 NORTHEAST...THERE WERE MANY TREES
   SNAPPED/UPROOTED OR LARGE BRANCHES BROKEN OFF AND BEAN FIELDS
   FLATTENED. AN AMATEUR RADIO TOWER WAS BENT OVER AND MORE HOMES
   HAD MINOR ROOF DAMAGE. A MOBILE HOME WAS FLIPPED OVER. TREE
   DAMAGE WAS ALSO NOTED ON COLEMAN CUT ROAD...A FEW MILES EAST
   OF LOVELACEVILLE.

   TOWN OF WYATT MO. HOMES IN THIS AREA HAD ROOF DAMAGE AND A
   CONCRETE BLOCK BUILDING WAS HEAVILY DAMAGED. THE ROOF OF A
   LARGE POLE BARN WAS DESTROYED. NUMEROUS TREES/TREE LIMBS BROKEN
   OFF. THE TORNADO EXITED TOWN AROUND HWY EE AND CONTINUED
   TRAVELING NORTHEAST AND UPROOTED A LARGE TREE ON HWY HH. A
   SMALL CEMETERY OFF OF COUNTY RD 307 HAD SEVERAL LARGE TREE BRANCHES
   SNAPPED AND THE ADJACENT BEAN FIELD SHOWED SIGNS OF WIND
   DAMAGE. FURTHER NORTHEAST NEAR BREWER LAKE...SEVERAL TREES WERE
   SNAPPED OR LARGE BRANCHES BROKEN OFF. A FEW TREE TOPS WERE
   BROKEN OFF ON THE LEVEE NEAR THE RIVER. THE TORNADO APPEARS TO
   HAVE CROSSED THE RIVER AND IMPACTED THE NEW PAGE PAPER MILL
   JUST SOUTH OF WICKLIFFE...WHERE A POWER POLE WAS DOWN AND A FEW
   TREES WERE EITHER UPROOTED OR SNAPPED IN THAT AREA.

 * Event Location.....5 miles SSW of Sikeston along Hwy FF to 3.8
   miles S of Sikeston along Hwy 61.

 * Peak Wind..........100 MPH

 * Damage Detail......On Hwy FF, a power pole was snapped and a
metal building (approximately 14X16) was destroyed. On Hwy 61, a
large metal building door was blown in with another door partially
blown out along with some siding damage. Two grain augers were blown
over and several grain pipes from 3 to 16 inches were blown around
including two across Hwy 61. One of the poles impaled a passing
vehicle shattering a window. A power pole was also snapped and metal
fencing was pushed over at Hwy 61.
