Tornado in Park County at Lake George - June 8th

A tornado occurred in eastern Park County and struck Lake George during the early afternoon of June 8th, causing damage to RVs, mobile homes and other structures. This tornado occurred in NWS Boulder's area of responsibility.

At this time, there is no evidence that this circulation was on the ground when it crossed into Teller County near Trail Creek Road.

Teller County is NWS Pueblo's area of responsibility. If you have heard of any evidence of a tornado and damage in northwest Teller County, please let us know by sending an email to
