October 15th marks the climatological end of the growing season for Southeast Colorado as we continue to progress towards winter.  With a couple of frosts to hard freezes already past, the National Weather Service in Pueblo will discontinue the issuance of Frost Advisories and Freeze Warnings for all of south central and southeast Colorado.  Residents across the southeast plains should remain diligent in draining outdoor pipes and irrigation systems in preparation for future cold snaps.
