A Hard Freeze This Morning

...A HARD FREEZE OVER MUCH OF SOUTHERN COLORADO THIS MORNING...
THE FIRST TRULY COLD AIRMASS OF THE SEASON HAS SETTLED IN OVER COLORADO.
LOW TEMPERATURES THIS MORNING ARE EXPECTED TO DROP INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS
AND TEENS ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS AND HIGH VALLEYS...WITH UPPER TEENS AND
20S WIDESPREAD OVER THE PLAINS. THESE TEMPERATURES WILL BE COLD ENOUGH
TO KILL MOST SENSITIVE PLANTS...AND A GOOD 10 DEGREES COLDER THAN ANY
SEEN SO FAR THIS SEASON. ADDITIONALLY...THEY COULD BE COLD ENOUGH IN
SOME AREAS TO THREATEN OUTDOOR SPRINKLER AND IRRIGATION SYSTEMS...
ESPECIALLY ALONG AND WEST OF THE I-25 CORRIDOR. PROTECT OR DRAIN
SPRINKLER AND IRRIGATION SYSTEMS. BRING SENSITIVE PLANTS INDOORS.
