Warm temperatures in the mountains will increase the snowmelt along the Upper Arkansas River Valley. This will bring high river
flow to the Arkansas River in Canon City. River levels are expected to remain within banks, but the high flows will still be
dangerous. Those participating in activities near the water are advised to use extreme caution. Strong currents could quickly
become a safety hazard.
