Smoke across southern and eastern Colorado Friday(6/3/2011)

There have been many reports and inquires about the smoke across southern and eastern Colorado.  The image below is a NOAA visible satellite imagery taken Friday(6/3/11) 1345Z(745 AM MDT).  There are a couple of large wildfires across southeastern Arizona, including the Bear Complex and Purgatorie Wildfires in southeastern Colorado.  The upper level atmospheric winds are spreading the smoke(light pink color) from Arizona into New Mexico and Colorado.
