Two brief tornadoes in the area June 11th

Two EF0 tornadoes in southern Colorado...

Severe thunderstorms erupted across the southeast Plains on Saturday spawning a couple of brief, small tornadoes.

The first tornado occurred near the Las Animas - Otero County line, lasting for a few minutes over open country.  There was likely no damage, and the tornado will be rated EF0.

The second tornado occurred with a supercell over east central Las Animas County, approximately 18 miles northwest of Kim, Colorado.  This tornado lasted a few minutes and was wrapped in rain.  There was likely no damage, and the tornado will also be rated EF0.
