Colorado Springs Sets Record for 90 Degree Days

Today's (August 22nd) high temperature of 93F in Colorado Springs not only set a record for the day;  it also marked the 36th day in which the high temperature reached 90 degrees or higher.  This surpasses the old record of 35 days with a high temperature reaching 90 degrees or better, which was set in 1980.
