Weather Facts and Outlook for Halloween

The weather across south central and southeast Colorado on Halloween can be quite scary at times! However, Halloween this year is expected to be rather tame in the weather department.  A storm system will exit eastern Colorado Wednesday night, leaving most of the area dry in time for Halloween.  The only area with a slight chance of seeing some lingering snow showers will be across the higher elevations of Chaffee and Lake counties. Temperatures will become typically chilly as night falls, with readings dropping into the 40s after sundown for the lower elevations, and into the 30s for the mountain communities.
