Winter Returns Saturday

Saturday is setting up to be a wintry day across southern Colorado with fairly decent chances for snow across the central and eastern mountains, the Pikes Peak Region and most of the eastern Colorado plains.  Several inches of snow could accumulate across the higher elevations.  Across the lower elevations, amounts will be lighter, generally in the range of 1 to 3 inches but a few areas could see more or less snow.  Accompanying the snow on Saturday will be a mass of cold, Canadian air that will hold temperatures below freezing at most locations throughout the day.
