High pressure continues to sit over the intermountain west with the warming trend expected to continue today. It will be dry at the surface but some mid level moisture will move in, which may be enough to generate a few showers and thunderstorms over the area, especially due to afternoon heating. Most showers and thunderstorms are anticipated to remain over the mountains, though isolated activity will be possible over the lower elevation locations as well.
How is the forecast shaping up? Below are some graphics to give a general idea of what conditions might be like across western and central Wyoming.
