Frigid Temperatures across Western and Central Wyoming Tonight and Tuesday Morning

Clearing skies will combine with snow covered  ground to create frigid temperatures tonight.  Lower elevations will experience low temperatures between -10 and -25 degrees tonight.  These temperatures combined with some wind will result in dangerous wind chill values between -20 and -30 degrees.  The windiest locations will be across Johnson and Natrona Counties while the coldest temperatures are expected to be in the Upper Green River Basin where temperatures are expected to be -20 to -25 by sunrise.  Frostbite in these conditions could occur in just over 15 minutes.  If venturing outside please dress in layers and have little or no exposed skin.
