Spotter Training Class - Northwest College, Powell, WY

Tuesday, April 4 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

NWC Fagerberg Building, Room 70


Learn about severe weather and how to identify cloud elements indicative of impending severe weather conditions.  An exciting multimedia presentation helps students gain spotter skills which will help them identify weather conditions that lead to severe weather like tornadoes, hail, and flash floods.  Using their new skills, students can become an integral part of the National Weather Service’s warning program, providing critical decision-making observations that help meteorologists fulfill the NWS mission of protecting lives and property.


This spotter training offered by Powell Valley Community Education. Class will be held at Northwest College - Fagerberg Building , Room 70. Register with PVCE by calling 754-6469.
