Aviation and Fire Weather sections added to AFD

Beginning on Tuesday, May 15, 2007, the Riverton, WY WFO will include Aviation and Fire Weather sections in the Area Forecast Discussion (AFD).  These sections will be provided year round, and they will be updated at least twice per day in the early morning (3-4AM) and afternoon (2-4PM) time frames, with other updates as necessary.  The Aviation section will provide a brief meteorological explanation of the reasoning behind the aviation forecasts issued the Riverton, WY WFO.  The Fire Weather section will provide a brief meteorological explanation of the reasoning behind the fire weather forecasts issued by Riverton, WY WFO, adding upon the discussion that is already provided with the Fire Weather Planning Forecast (FWF).
