Powerful Winter Storm Brought Moderate to Heavy Snowfall to Southwest and Central Wyoming! (Updated)
A powerful winter storm system brought snowfall to southwest and central Wyoming Friday through Saturday morning. The largest snowfall totals reported were in the the Wind River Basin, Lander Foothills, the east slopes of the Wind River Range, southern Lincoln County, Natrona County and southern Johnson County, where generally 5 to 10 inches of snow accumulated. The greatest snow amounts fell in portions of the Lander Foothills and in the east slopes of the Wind River Range with reports of between 10 and 13 inches.
