Winter Storm Hammers Western Wyoming

A strong Pacific storm system moved into the northern Rockies this past weekend.  This storm brought significant Pacific moisture into western Wyoming producing periods of heavy snowfall from Saturday through the day on Sunday.   The greatest snowfall amounts occurred in the Teton, Gros Ventre, Salt and Wyoming mountains, and the west slopes of the Wind River mountains.   The following preliminary snowfall totals are through 5 pm Sunday.
