Snowfall on February 26th and 27th

A quick-moving area of low pressure entered western Wyoming on Thursday, February 27th, in the afternoon, and then trekked across northern Wyoming Thursday night. Snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour were observed in western Wyoming Thursday afternoon. Light to moderate snowfall accumulations occurred in western Wyoming with light accumulations in the Bighorn Basin, the Cody Foothills, the Bighorn Mountains and in northern Johnson County.
