Unseasonably Hot Weather Occurred Sunday

...Summer Returns - Several Record Highs set Sunday...

 

Fall officially begins at 9:09 p.m. MDT on September 22nd.  However Mother Nature made it fell more like the dog days of summer Sunday.  Four airports either tied or set new record highs for September 19th.  Several other records were likely set from our volunteer network of observers.  In addition to the record heat, very large diurnal swings were observed with some locations going from freezing temperatures in the morning to the lower 90s in the afternoon.  Here is a list of highs that occurred Sunday, and how much each station warmed.
