On the morning of Saturday, December 10th, 2011 there will be a total lunar eclipse. Since this event is occuring at the same time as the full moon, the peak of the eclipse will occur at the same time as moonset and sunrise. If you're up early that morning, take a few minutes to witness this rare occurence! The current (Thursday morning) forecast calls for mostly clear skies Saturday morning. Below you will find a timeline of the event (grayed text indicates events will occur after the moon sets here in Wyoming).
