The late Spring and Summer of 2012 has produced some hot spells. Places like Casper, Lander, Worland, and downtown Riverton have seen near record consecutive days of highs at or above 90 degrees. On Wednesday July 25th, cooler air moved into Wyoming and put an end to the current streak of 90 degree high temperatures at Worland, Casper and downtown Riverton. Casper Airport tied their record for consecutive 90 degree highs while Worland and downtown Riverton made a decent run at the record. With plenty of summer left, there is the potential to see another stretch of prolonged 90 degree high temperatures.
