Broken NWS Product Link? Try this...

The National Weather Service
Building a Weather-Ready Nation

As some of you may know, the National Weather Service is overhauling its web presence; which requires moving all links to products over to a new web address (quite the undertaking!).

Broken Link?

If you come across a link that always used to work, like this one for example:

http://www.crh.noaa.gov/product.php?site=RIW&issuedby=RIW&product=AFD&format=CI&version=1&glossary=1  (this will take you to our Forecast Discussion)

...You SHOULD automatically be directed to the new address: http://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=RIW&issuedby=RIW&product=AFD&format=CI&version=1&glossary=1

We ask that you change all of your links to our products to include the new address (replace the "crh.noaa.gov" with "forecast.weather.gov" and leave the rest of the link after the ".gov" alone). Please be sure to check the product issuance time for the current date. If it is old (most likely from Monday, July 30th) then the link is bad. If, for some reason, you are not directed to the new address with the current product, and the link still does not work when you enter in the new forecast.weather.gov prefix, please email the webmaster at w-riw.webmaster@noaa.gov

We thank you for your patience during this important transition. We hope you enjoy our new design!
