Will the wildfire smoke leave anytime soon? 8/19 Update

Wildfire smoke continues to plague much of central and western Wyoming.  The smoke is from distant fires in north central Idaho and far western Montana as well as local wildfires including the Alpine Lake (E. Wind River Mts), Butte Creek (S. Absaroka Mts.) and Fontenelle (Wyoming Range Mts.) fires.  Little or no relief is expected from this smoke over the next several days.  Fire behavior is expected to possibly worsen this coming Tuesday and/or Wednesday as a storm system increases the wind, but is expected to bring little or no rainfall.
