
Building a Weather-Ready Nation
Thunderstorms moved across much of the state on Friday, August 31st and Saturday, September 1st. These storms were associated with a few disturbances that passed through the region, and were fortified by some favorable upper level dynamics and moisture. These storms brought some much needed rain to the region, with the western mountains receiving the most. To see how the recent rains have affected the drought, click here.
