Snowfall Totals - January 15th

 A quick hitting system in a moist northerly flow resulted in some snowfall across the northern mountains and adjacent foothills late Monday night and Tuesday.  Greybull and Lovell received around 4 inches of snowfall while the most snowfall observed with this system was at the Wyoming High Country Lodge (26 E Lovell) in the northern Bighorn Mountains where a foot of new snow fell. Below are preliminary snowfall totals for Monday night and Tuesday.

 Below is a map showing the percent of average snow water equivalent by basin through January 15th.  Water sheds (basins) west of the Divide are near normal for this time of year, but much of the area east of the divide are well below average.  No significant snowfall is expected across western and central Wyoming for the next 7-10 days.
