January 2013 has been rather balmy for the Casper area.  The high temperatures at the Natrona County International Airport have been well above normal for most of the month.  In fact, as of January 27th, there have been 8 days of high temperatures at or above 50 degrees.  This ties January 2009 for the most days of highs at or above 50 degrees.  In addition, the string of 7 consecutive days of 50 degree highs, from January 21st through January 27th, is a new record for consecutive highs at or above 50 for the Natrona County International Airport in the month of January (period of record 1940-2013).
