A round of showers and thunderstorms moved through Natrona county early on the morning of July 19th. One area of storm development occurred west of Casper and remained generally stationary for a few hours. Another area of showers and thunderstorms developed well west of Casper, and moved east through the same period. At one point, the systems met and reports of some significant rainfall were received to the National Weather Service office in Riverton. Below is a graphic summarizing the event, and providing some rainfall totals from across the impacted area.
