...Record Breaking Cold On The Way...

An unseasonably cold airmass has moved into the area and will only tighten its grips on the area through this upcoming weekend. Record breaking low temperatures are forecast Saturday and Sunday mornings with low temperatures possibly approaching all time records for the month of April! Even if the all time records for April aren’t broken this airmass is expected to be one of the coldest ever for so late in the year. If forecast low temperatures in the upper teens and lower 20s this weekend are accurate, this cold snap could turn very costly and potentially catostrophic to area farmers.
