...April 2008 Climate Summary...

While April 2008 did not break any monthly records for precipitation as February and March did, it was a wetter and much cooler than normal month for much of the Missouri Ozarks and southeast Kansas.  Much of the month had below normal temperatures as the region was dominated by a deep trough of low pressure in the upper atmosphere.  Record low temperatures were established during the middle and later portions of the month.  Here are links to some of the more significant event from April 2008...
