...A Small But Intense Area of Heavy Rain Affects Parts of the Missouri Ozarks...

 

The remains and tropical moisture from Tropical Storm Erin brought areas of heavy rain to the Missouri Ozarks and southeast Kansas this morning. Fairly localized...but intense...rainfall occurred west and north of the Springfield this morning with some areas seeing ten inches of rain. Hardest hit areas were in northern Lawrence and southern Dade Counties into parts of Polk and Greene Counties.
