...Autumn Begins on Monday...

Summer of 2008 will come to an end at 10:43 AM Monday with the Autumnal Equinox. 

Most of the Missouri Ozarks had above normal precipitation during the Summer Months (Jun-Aug).  During the first part of September, Springfield, MO moved into the top 10 precipitation totals for a full year as as of the first day of Autumn is only 9.10 from reaching the most precipitation ever recorded in a year for Springfield.
