...A Very Wet Year Across the Ozarks...

Another round of heavy rainfall affected the region Saturday 12/27.

Springfield/Branson National Airport (KSGF) recorded 1.35" of rainfall.
Joplin Regional Airport (KJLN) recorded 1.12" of rainfall.
West Plains Airport (KUNO) recorded 1.60" of rainfall.
Rolla/Vichy Airport (KVIH) recorded 1.51" of rainfall.

This brings the yearly precipitation total at these airports to:

KSGF - 60.11" (3rd wettest year on record)
KJLN - 63.16" (3rd wettest year on record)
KUNO - 59.59" (3rd wettest year on record)
KVIH - 54.32" (4th wettest year on record)

The precipitation totals for each site rank as one of the wettest years on record.  The following are tables of the Top 10 wettest years for each airport, highlighting the totals for 2008.
