A Rare Winter Solstice Total Lunar Eclipse Observed Across the Ozarks


A rare event occurred early Tuesday morning as a total lunar eclipse was observed across the Ozarks. The last time a total lunar eclipse was observed on the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere was on December 21st, 1638. The next time we can expect to see an event like this align with the Winter Solstice will be on December 21st, 2094.
