...Dirty Rain Fell Across The Ozarks...

Dirty Rain Fell Across The Missouri Ozarks Sunday night and Early Monday Morning...

A lot of people woke Monday morning and have been asking about why everything outside was covered in a dirty film.  Well, believe it or not, we actually had "Dirty Rain" which fell across Southeast Kansas and the Missouri Ozarks last night and early this morning.  This was caused by the blowing of dust and dirt from West Texas late Sunday afternoon.  This cloud of dust and dirt was carried across the Southern Plains last night thanks to a powerful storm system.  The storms caused raindrops to move through this dust cloud and caused dirty rain across the area.  Below is a visible satellite image from about 5 pm Sunday afternoon showing all the dust and dirt which was kicked up behind the Dry Line pushing across the Southern Plains.
