Sept 9 - A Few Severe Storms Impact Northern Kansas

Strong to severe storms rolled across northern Kansas during the afternoon and evening hours of Tuesday September 9.  Several of these storms were rotating, but thankfully were unable to produce tornadoes.  Pockets of damaging winds and large hail did occur, along with locally heavy rainfall.  This worst of the storms skirted just north and east of the area in southern Nebraska and northern Missouri where very large hail, wind damage, a few tornadoes, and up to 10" of rain were reported.
