Gusty Winds Impacted Northeast Kansas Sunday Afternoon

A strengthening surface low pressure over western Kansas increased winds at 25 to 30 MPH sustained across the area. Wind Advisories were issued over the entire area as wind speeds peaked over 50 MPH. The following table is the highest recorded wind gusts observed over northeast Kansas on Sunday afternoon. Please note the wind speeds were as of 6 PM CST.
