Very HOT temperatures are forecast across northeast, east-central and north-central Kansas through the week and into this weekend. High temperatures are expected to be near or above 100 degrees through the middle of next week. Afternoon heat indices will commonly range between 105 and 110 degrees, and occasionally approach 115 degrees. Overnight temperatures will not provide much relief as lows will only cool to the 75-80 degree range. Rain chances will remain low through this period as well. |
