Halls Summit Weather Radio Transmitter Signal Degraded

THE NOAA WEATHER RADIO TRANSMITTER IN HALLS SUMMIT IS EXPERIENCING MINOR DEGRADATION OF SERVICE DUE TO HARDWARE PROBLEMS. TECHNICIANS ARE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND REPLACEMENT PARTS HAVE BEEN ORDERED. THE WEATHER RADIO TRANSMITTER AT HALLS SUMMIT REMAINS OPERATIONAL AND WILL CONTINUE TO TONE ALERT HOWEVER THE SERVICEABLE RANGE MAY BE REDUCED UNTIL REPAIRS ARE MADE. LISTENERS OF HALLS SUMMIT ARE ENCOURAGED TO USE ADDITIONAL METHODS TO RECEIVE WARNINGS UNTIL REPAIRS ARE MADE. WE WILL CONTINUE TO UPDATE THE STATUS OF THE REPAIRS AS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS MADE AVAILABLE.
