Snow Totals and Wind from April 28-29, 2014

April 28-29, 2014 - A potent low pressure system brought strong winds, plentiful rain, and heavy snow to much of the region. Precipitation and gusty winds began on the 27th, continuing into the 29th. The northern Black Hills and portions of southwest South Dakota received the most snowfall, and the strongest winds occurred just east of the Black Hills. Preliminary storm reports are listed below, as well as a map depicting the reports.
