South Dakota Winter Weather Preparedness Week is October 26-30

The National Weather Service and South Dakota state and local emergency management agencies are sponsoring Winter Weather Preparedness Week October 26-30 to encourage people to prepare for hazardous winter storms.  Visit our Winter Weather Safety page or the South Dakota "bReady" web site developed the Department of Health and the Department of Public Safety for preparations and important safety guidelines to help survive the extreme conditions.
