National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office

The Rapid City National Weather Service office will join emergency response agencies from Rapid City and Pennington County at Disaster Awareness Day on Saturday, September 26.   The event will be held at the Rushmore Mall in Rapid City from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M.  Meteorologists will provide information on Internet weather pages, NOAA Weather Radio, and weather safety.  The event is sponsored by the Rapid City-Pennington County Emergency Management Office.
