Damage Survey Conducted for Dupree Tornado June 16

At least ten tornadoes were observed around Dupree the evening of June 16.  A National Weather Service damage assessement determined that tornado damage did occur in the town of Dupree, in addition to widespread long-lasting straight line winds and very heavy rain.  The damage to several houses, mobile homes, and the community center was estimated at 120 to 130 miles per hour, which is rated an EF-2 on the Enhanced Fujita damage scale.
