Storm brings heavy snow and strong winds to the region Jan 13-14

January 14 - An Alberta Clipper storm tracked from southern Canada across the Dakotas, bringing heavy snow to parts of the Black Hills and strong wind gusts to the plains of western South Dakota Monday, January 13 and Tuesday, January 14. The heaviest snow occurred on the western slopes of the Black Hills due to upslope west-northwest winds. Some snow and wind reports include:
