Christmas 2012 Snowfall Amounts

PUBLIC INFORMATION STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORMAN OK
245 PM CST WED DEC 26 2012

A strong winter storm system moved across the southern plains on Christmas Day. Strong, gusty north winds created blowing and drifting of snow, which made snowfall measurements difficult. Southern Oklahoma received the most snow while parts of north central Oklahoma received little if any.
