In remembrance of the deadly F4 tornado that devastated portions of Williamson County in 1982, a memorial service is occasionally held on the anniversary date in Marion, Illinois.  The memorial service honors those who perished in the storm in addition to the survivors of this great tragedy.  Please check with local officials for the time and location of the next memorial service.
