Fire Weather LogoWelcome to the Fire Weather Information Section of the Paducah National Weather Service office. This page is designed to provide basic information regarding the fire weather program at our office, along with the latest fire weather forecasts and statements for our area.

The Paducah National Weather Service office issued its first official fire weather forecast on the morning of February 14, 2000. The Paducah area of responsibility includes the Shawnee National Forest in southern Illinois, parts of the Mark Twain National Forest in southeast Missouri, and The Land Between The Lakes Area in West Kentucky.

Any questions or concerns about our fire weather program may be directed via E-mail to Kelly Hooper (fire weather program leader at Paducah).
