NOAA All-Hazards Weather Radio updates

...Union County, KY is now served by the radio transmitter near Evansville, IN. The transmitter call sign is KIG-76. The station operates on a frequency of 162.55 MHz. Union County will continue to be served by another transmitter... near Madisonville, KY (WXJ-91) on 162.525 MHz. Both transmitters will provide SAME encoded bulletins for Union Co., KY.

...Mississippi County, MO is now served by the radio transmitter near Bloomfield in Stoddard County. The transmitter call sign is WXL-47. The station operates on a frequency of 162.40 MHz. Mississippi County will continue to be served by two other transmitters... Cape Girardeau (KXI-93) on 162.55 MHz. and Mayfield, KY (KIH-46) on 162.475 MHz.

...The radio transmitter in Stoddard County was relocated from a site near Dexter to a site near Bloomfield. The new location should improve signal strength and increase the listening coverage area. Counties served by the transmitter will remain unchanged. They will remain Wayne, Butler, Stoddard, Scott, and New Madrid.  The transmitter call sign is WXL-47. The station operates on a frequency of 162.40 MHz.

...The Clarksville, Tennessee transmitter now serves Christian and Todd Counties in KY. Broadcast signals are strong enough to warrant including Christian and Todd Counties in the Clarksville transmitter coverage area. The Clarksville transmitter is operated by the Nashville, TN office. The transmitter call sign is WWH-37. The station operates on a frequency of 162.50 MHz.

There are no other changes to service in Christian and Todd Counties. The Bowling Green transmitter will continue to serve Todd County. The Hopkinsville/Madisonville transmitters will continue to serve Christian and Todd Counties.
