THE FOLLOWING IS A FINAL DAMAGE ASSESSMENT FOR THE BRIEF TORNADO 
TOUCHDOWN IN SOUTHERN JEFFERSON COUNTY ILLINOIS ON TUESDAY, APRIL 
12, 2005.
 
* EVENT DATE: TUESDAY APRIL 12, 2005

* EVENT TYPE: F0 TORNADO 

* ESTIMATED TIME: 7:12 PM UNTIL 7:20 PM 

* EVENT LOCATIONS:  2 MILES SOUTHWEST OF NASON TO NEAR INA

* PEAK WIND:  65 MPH 

* DAMAGE AREA DIMENSIONS:  50 YARDS WIDE (MAXIMUM), 4 MILE PATH
                           LENGTH 

* INJURIES:  NONE

* FATALITIES: NONE

* DAMAGE PER LOCATION: TORNADO WAS PRIMARILY OVER REND LAKE...LIMBS  
                       DOWN SOUTH OF NASON AND NEAR INA.  NO         
                       SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE.
