Local Storm Report, Issued by NWS Paducah, KY
  • The heaviest damage occurred in and near Owensboro, Kentucky, where numerous
    structures were damaged. Initial damage estimates were over one million dollars.
    Tree and power line damage was extensive. The Owensboro and Daviess County
    damage survey is available here.
  • A brief tornado occurred in eastern Henderson County, KY. Most of the rest of the
    county experienced straight-line winds from 60 to 75 MPH, downing many

  • Structural damage occurred in a number of other places,
    including Gallatin County, Illinois. Click here for the Gallatin County damage survey.
    Injuries were reported in Franklin County, Illinois, where a damage survey has been
    completed.

Below is a photo from Wayne Fitzgerrell State Park in Franklin County, where 2 persons
were injured when a camper overturned.
