MINNESOTA...CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...NORTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA AND
NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THE GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER INDEX WILL REACH THE VERY HIGH CATEGORY
THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA AND
ALL OF NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA. A RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT
TODAY DUE TO THE COMBINATION OF LOW HUMIDITY AND GUSTY SOUTH WINDS.

A COLD FRONT WILL BRING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO
NORTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA LATE THIS AFTERNOON...AND ACROSS
PORTIONS OF THE REMAINING FORECAST AREA TONIGHT. NO SEVERE WEATHER
IS EXPECTED.
